Gower’s Financial Well-Being Series Empowers Local Professionals

Gower recently continued it's Financial Well-Being Series with an engaging session for the Young Business Group (YBG) Guernsey, bringing financial literacy to the forefront for the island’s young professionals.

The event drew an enthusiastic audience of around 50 individuals keen to enhance their financial knowledge. Paul McCormick, Director of Gower, and Luke Mapley, Chartered Financial Planner, led the session, offering practical advice on building good financial habits, setting realistic goals, and creating effective personal financial forecasts.

Rebecca Hale, President of YBG, shared her thoughts on the session:

"Paul and Luke delivered a highly informative and engaging talk. The practical advice they shared will undoubtedly help our members build a stronger financial foundation."

Reflecting on the event, Paul McCormick commented:

"Speaking to such a motivated group was truly rewarding. At Gower, we are passionate about helping people take control of their financial futures, and it was fantastic to see enthusiasm for financial planning."

This talk is part of a broader series of events by Gower aimed at promoting financial well-being in the local community.  A recent session included collaboration with accountancy firm BDO, with Guernsey Sixth Form Centre to follow in early February, demonstrating Gower’s commitment to empowering individuals across all stages of life with the tools they need to make informed financial decisions.
