Empowering Future Generations with Good Financial Habits
At Gower, we believe that financial confidence starts early. That’s why two of our team members, Luke Mapley and Robyn Bowyer-Smith, recently visited Guernsey Sixth Form Centre to give a talk to Year 12 students about the power of good financial habits.
Speaking to 16 and 17-year-olds, Luke and Robyn shared practical advice on budgeting, managing debt, and setting financial goals—essential skills for a secure financial future. They encouraged students to start building smart money habits now so that they can navigate life’s financial decisions with confidence.
The interactive session helped students understand the importance of setting short, medium, and long-term goals—from saving for university to planning for their first home. With real-world examples and expert insights, Luke and Robyn provided students with a solid foundation for financial success.
At Gower, we’re committed to empowering individuals with financial knowledge—at every stage of life. If you’d like to learn more about how we can help you plan for the future, get in touch with our team today.
