Gower Sponsor Promising Young Cricketer

We were excited to be offered the opportunity to sponsor one of the bright young stars of the Guernsey Cricket this summer, young Charlie Forshaw, who has been rising through the ranks of domestic cricket rapidly in recent years. The 2024 season turned out to be his breakthrough season with the senior Guernsey men’s cricket team, and this culminated with his participation in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup qualifying tournament that was held in Guernsey during August. This meant several group stage games competing against the likes of Finland, Malta and Bulgaria, before going on to face and defeat Denmark in the final. meaning that Guernsey progress to the next stage of qualifying! Young Charlie finished the tournament as the leading wicket taker, with 12 scalps to his name, which is a magnificent achievement for this promising young cricketer.
