The Insurance Institute of Guernsey 2024 awards evening

Gower’s own Chartered Financial Planner, Luke Mapley, recently received the education award from the Insurance Institute of Guernsey at their 2024 awards ceremony, held at St Pierre Park. Luke has worked exceptionally hard in recent years, earning this award after achieving the Personal Finance Society’s Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and being appointed as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), a professional body for Financial Planners in the UK and Channel Islands.

 Reflecting on the award, Luke said, "It was a complete surprise to receive this recognition, and it’s an honour to be acknowledged in this way by my peers." Gower Director Paul McCormick commented, "This award is a true reflection of Luke’s dedication and commitment to his studies over many years. We strongly encourage our team to pursue professional development, and Luke sets a shining example of this."
